We open the Weekend America mailbag and hear your responses to recent stories, including a California church-goer who voted for, not against, Proposition 8; a post-election mixtape of listeners' favorite voting season songs; and, in preparation for Thanksgiving, one explanation for what those buckles were doing on the Pilgrims' hats.

I second the call for the list of post-election songs. Here in Seattle, as the streets filled with celebrating people, a bar on Capitol Hill put speakers on its roof and blasted... Journey's "Don't Stop Believing"! At one of the, if not the most monumental historical moments of our lifetime, hundreds of people were in the streets singing, "He was just a city boy, born and raised in South Detroit..." It was bizarre, and somewhat deflating to be honest. But at the same time, I was at a loss for what I would have played to the jubilant crowds. So, yeah, I'd love to see the list. Thanks.

Any chance that you'll post the list from the post-election mix? My son and I each made our own mix and shared them with each other as we did a jigsaw puzzle of Obama.

    Please post the list!
