Guidelines for Commenting
We invite you to add your thoughts on the content of our stories. We value your opinions and insight, and in a few cases we mayeven contact you to be part of the show in some capacity based on your comments.
Our comment area is moderated, meaning you will see the comment immediately but if a moderator finds that the comment is not in keeping with the following guidelines or otherwise violates our Terms of Use, the moderator will remove the comment from the live site.
Be Civil: Please respond insightfully and respectfully. There is room for disagreement, but please disagree with people's ideas. Personal attacks, profanity and general harassing attitudes will not be tolerated.
Be Brief: Limit your comments to about 150 words. If you have to scroll to read your comment, it's probably too long. Post comments only once.
Stay on Topic: In other words, if the story isn't about climate change, leave climate change out of it.
Read it Over: Good grammar, spelling, and punctuation make it easier for everyone to understand your ideas. Posts that are so riddled with errors as to be unreadable will be removed.
