Political Bets

John Moe

Full Episode Audio

The big topic after the Republican National Convention seems to be Sarah Palin, the vice presidential candidate. An unknown when McCain picked her. The word you keep hearing is "gamble." She could flame out or pay off. It makes sense if you know that McCain likes to gamble. He's a craps player, loves the game. Meanwhile, Barack Obama has stayed relatively quiet regarding Palin. As if he's sizing her up, reading her the way a poker player would. Well, turns out Obama loves poker, just as many presidents have.

I understand the Republican pick for V.P. is old news by now, but something just isn't sitting right with me. I have this feeling McCain was so fearful of Obama winning the election that he picked Palin because of her gender. McCain knew how well recieved Hillary was with the voters. Then there is the oil drilling matter what better way of getting what he wants then to bring in a person from one of America's leading oil producing states. I have also notice McCains popularity has risen with white blue collar workers and females. Is the voters that navie to see the plotting strategy McMain is doing? Like the article says McCain likes to shoot craps well he sure has been slinging the bull around LOL
