1. Bailout
The financial crisis shifted from Wall Street to Capitol Hill as Congress tried to hash out a bailout for the financial industry. The price tag could be as high as $700 billion. Is the bailout good news, bad news, or no news?

2. McCain suspends campaign
"Time out!" So said the McCain campaign on Wednesday, announcing it would suspend its efforts in order for the Republican nominee to focus on the economic crisis. McCain also called for an indefinite postponement of the scheduled Friday night debate. By Friday morning, he announced he would go to the debate after all. Was this action good news, bad news, or no news?

3. Lance Armstrong to return to racing
Okay. We've eaten our news vegetables. Let's move on. To sports! And bikes! And Texans who go to France. Lance Armstrong, winner of seven straight Tours de France, is coming back to race again. Armstrong retired from racing in 2005 but will be on a bike next summer after being cleared to race this week. Apparently riding a bike is like riding a bicycle. Is his return good news, bad news, or no news?
