People travel to St. Paul's Chapel in New York City for different reasons. Some may come to see the historic architecture or the pew where George Washington worshipped on his inauguration day. But most will tell you they are going because of 9/11. The church was the site of impromptu memorials immediately after 9/11 and still houses memorials, exhibits and an extensive audio-visual history of the event. Weekend America spoke with visitors to St. Paul's chapel on a recent Sunday afternoon.

Then...

Rev. Dr. Stuart Hoke is the staff chaplain at St. Paul's Chapel. He was at the chapel when the Twin Towers were struck on 9/11. Today he welcomes those who trek to the chapel to pay respects to those who died. Weekend America host Desiree Cooper explores the idea of a pilgrimage with the Rev. Hoke.
