The Art and Craft of Election Rhetoric

Listen to this Story

"The Al Sharpton Primary" comes to a close this weekend New York City. Technically, it's the annual convention for the National Action Network, the organization that Sharpton runs, but this week it has become the place to speechify if you're a Democratic and trying to court black voters. Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Bill Richardson, John Edwards and Joe Biden each took a turn at the podium. Weekend America's Krissy Clark takes this opportunity to investigate the art of rhetoric.
