The North Country
A movie that premiered at the Toronto Film Festival is sure to create a buzz across the U.S. in coming weeks. North Country is based on the first class-action lawsuit over sexual harassment. The suit was filed in the 1988 by female mine workers in Northern Minnesota. At the same time the movie was being shot in the state's Iron Range, radio producer Catherine Winter was there making a documentary to tell the miners' story.
