Mr. Harrison as the Grand Marshal of the Tambourine and Fan Super Sunday Parade. During the parade, a plane flew overhead with a banner proclaiming Harrison as the Grand Marshal. The parade features a host of Mardi Gras Indians, who honor and claim a shared heritage with the American Indians who sheltered runaway slaves. Mr. Harrison is related to Big Chief Donald Harrison, Sr. of the Guardians of the Flame.
