Freshwater Ferdie is a life-sized cutout that is used to track where fish hooks have been removed from patients throughout the fishing season.   Each summer the cutout is replaced with a new, fresh drawing.  Past fishermen and fisherwomen have been named Walleye Wally, Patty Pike, Trapper Don and Sunny.
