The Democratic Congress has adjourned for the year. Overall, was 2007 a year of Congressional Good News, Bad News or No News?

For the first time in 35 years, the U.S. fertility rate is high enough to sustain our population -- 2.1 babies per woman. This is Good News, Bad News, or No News?

In Manhattan this fall, a carriage horse named Smoothie got spooked by a break-dancing troupe, ran between two trees; carriage got stuck behind him, Smoothie collapsed and died. Now, the New York City Council is debating a ban on horse-drawn carriages in the streets. Good news, Bad News or No News?

This summer, a University of Florida student disrupted a John Kerry speech and as he was being forcibly detained, he yelled to campus police, "Don't tase me, bro!" Now, the Yale Book Of Quotations has chosen that utterance as its quote-of-the-year. Is this choice Good News, Bad News or No News?
