This hour on the show, we are hearing from our listeners. This story dates back 50 years and it includes a revolution in another country and a move to the United States--on New Year's Eve. Listener Yvette Kaplan shares her story.
Then...
Now we meet a listener named Cookie Krizmanich. As she neared retirement age, Krizmanich found herself dreaming of life in Croatia--the country her father came from more than 50 years ago. So Krizmanich bought a farmhouse there and she's putting her home in the U.S. up for sale. This will be her last New Year's here in the States.
